IBOX Packaging is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven, thorough and organized Shipping Manager to support our growing business! The ideal candidate oversees the inventory and logistics operations of our locally-owned manufacturing business specializing in retail and industrial packaging. 

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Shipping Manager oversees the logistics and operations of our manufacturing facility located in beautiful Delta, BC. You will be responsible for inventory control, receiving shipments, and order picking. As a leader, you will coach and develop your team of approximately 10 people, to achieve a high level of performance in terms of safety, efficiency, and order fulfillment and accuracy. To support the experience and knowledge you bring to the role, you will receive excellent training from the incumbent to set you up for success in this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Organize the warehouse to optimize space and improve efficiencies
• Oversee picking and packing to support timely shipment
• Maintain and generate inventory reports and organize cycle counts to ensure physical inventory matches the system inventory data and adjust, if needed
• Process paperwork for raw material receipts and finished goods shipments
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by ensuring regulatory and company standards are adhered to
• Communicate and collaborate efficiently with other departments within the business, such as Estimating, Accounting, and Management

• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills and/or customer service experience
• Organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage time
• Basic computer skills, to receive and respond to emails
• Experience with an ERP system an asset
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/logistics experience
